If taken properly the hoodia patch will not be harmful, but whenever starting on any diet or using any weight loss aid, you should speak to your doctor first so they can make sure that you are not going to be putting yourself at any risk.
You need to bear in mind that the patch will often take up to four or six weeks to show full results, so don’t just stop using it after a few days because you think that it is not working. It is important to never stop using it abruptly either, because that can cause your body to start going through withdrawals.
